Moshe Simply Wants to Get Married With Dignity

COMMUNICATED CONTENT

A video came into circulation this week showing widow Rabbi Aharon Tufik and his son Moshe. Rabbi Tufik reportedly lost his wife to cancer, leaving him in poverty with 5 children to raise.

Now that his son Moshe is engaged to be married, Rabbi Tufik is faced with the harsh reality of their financial situation. Β The video in circulation [below] has moved viewers internationally, due to its highly vulnerable nature.

“This is a very difficult time for us,” Rabbi Tufik saysΒ in a hushed tone, hoarse with emotion.

What is perhaps most moving is Moshe, who says nothing at all.

With only a month and a half remaining until the wedding date, donations have begun to trickle in to help Rabbi Tufik and his son cover the basics needed for an engagement. Chesed Fund representatives have made the story their featured campaign, in hopes that the family will reach their goal with dignity.
