As we approach Yom Kippur we all must ask ourselves this question and if the answer is “NO” then we truly need to do Teshuvah and commit ourselves as a Tzibbur to do anything possible to improve the disheartening situation Bnos Yisroel (daughters and women who are unmarried as of yet) are faced with.
As President of a Non-Profit Shidduch Organization, Besuros Tovos Inc. (www.bashert.net), I can personally testify that
despite efforts by many people unfortunately not enough is being done to help these (young) women in their noble request to build a Bayis Ne’eman in Klal Yisroel filled with their own children.
The proof is that until the pool of single (young) women shrinks considerably year over year, we cannot declare the previous year as a year of (much) progress.
Please treat single (young) women you know of as if they were your own daughter or sister.
