Here’s a crazy story for you! I was going to meet my now wife’s family for the first time for a family BBQ. It was going to be my first impression so I dressed nice, left super early, brought flowers and wine and everything. I show up and everyone looks a little shocked and frustrated. I couldn’t figure out why… while everybody was washing my now wife pulled me to the side and was super upset that I was almost an hour late meanwhile here I was thinking I was 15 minutes early… I checked my texts turns out she texted me 6:00 instead of 5:00. She felt so bad and immediately explained to everyone what happened. Her parents said they were so relieved because being so late to something like this is a tiny bit of a red flag. We laughed it off and now I always double check times for everything because it wasn’t the last time that happened 😂
