I grew up not religious and went to public school. Me and a friend from high school had a long-standing joke that if we’re both still single at 30, we’d get married. We lost touch after high school, and I ended up becoming religious. Apparently, so did she! And a shadchan set us up and were happily married now and even found somewhere in my yearbook a joke about us getting married 🥳
