This literally happened a year ago in Elul! I was on a date and the guy was like by the way I was assuming since girls don’t go to shul you didn’t hear shofar yet… he ligit took out a shofar in the middle of a hotel lobby and did a whole shofar performance. It was HUMILIATING. Was the first and last date but may have been worth the story haha 😭😂
