AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH 8TH DAY BY THE JEWISH HOCK๐Ÿ˜

Exclusive Interview: 8th Day Reveals About Lucky Album

We interviewed 8th Day about their new Lucky album. Hereโ€™s how it wentโ€ฆ

Jewish Hock: Whatโ€™s your favorite song on the new Lucky album?

8th Day: Hard to pick a favorite especially with our diverse sound and styles we like to play around with. So far Lucky, Iโ€™m Stickin Around and Una Meser have been the fan favorites.

Jewish Hock: Do you enjoy performing more at concerts or Simchas?

8th Day: Great question. Concerts are more top down โ€“ you sit there while we perform. Simchas are more bottom up, the band reacts and plays off the energy of the dance floor. Lately the frum audience at least in our experience, has been much more interactive so now itโ€™s kind of the same at both!

Jewish Hock: Who was your biggest inspiration in Jewish Music?

8th Day: Yosi Piamenta, Moshe Yess, Yitchak Bitton are the standouts that inspired us the most. There are many many others who paved the way and influenced us and all Jewish Music artists today.

Jewish Hock: What would you tell the many fans that want to know What goes into releasing an album?

8th Day: Lots of hard work plain and simple. Writing songs is a process requiring both heart and mind, and then producing them properly takes many months of full effort.

Jewish Hock: Where can people get your latest album Lucky?

8th Day: MostlyMusic.comย is our distributor. Anywhere music is streaming or downloaded.

Jewish Hock: Anything else youโ€™d like to share with Jewish Hock readers?

8th Day: Keep listening and staying involved with Jewish Music!
