Adorable and Inspiring! Cheder Menachem Has Historic Performance in Red Square

0

Cheder Menachem of Moscow Choir recently turned a new page in history, with a performance in Moscow’s Red Square at the Kremlin Museum.

The history of hatred of Jews in Red Russia is a well-known one, and in today’s current climate of rising antisemitism, one would hardly expect a cheder to perform in such a central and public place. However there Cheder Menachem went, singing niggunim and other Jewish songs with a bounce in their step and a smile on their faces. Indeed another generation of Russian Jewry makes itself proudly known, singing out “we fear no one but Hashem.”

Historical significance aside, it also happens to be an adorable performance.
